One of the greatest Beauty Pageants Miss World 2012 is taking place in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. The final ceremony is going to be held on August 18, 2012 which will be the 62nd edition of this title. Altogether there are 116 contestants from all over the world. And one of the most hopeful contestant is our own Miss Nepal and her name is Shristi Shrestha. And we and the whole Nepal think she has what it takes to take the crown this time.

There are 7 challenge events namely World Fashion Designer Award, Beach Fashion, Performing Talent, Sports and Fitness,Top Model, Beauty with a Purpose and Multimedia Award. The winners of the events will be named during the Miss World Finals on August 18.
The World Fashion Designer Ball took place at Shanghai on July 26 and will be announced later. 40 Beach fashion semi-finalists were announced on August 2, 2012 including the contestant from Nepal Shristi Shrestha.
Top 5 finalists were selected for Performing Talent award during the Talent final held on August 8 and the winner will be announced during the Miss World finals on August 18.
Miss World sports and fitness qualifiers were announced on August with 24 contestants selected as semi-finalists. For Top Model, 10 finalists were selected and winner will be announced in the final day.
The Miss World contestants have set up Beauty with a purpose projects in more than 100 countries which gives thousands of young women the opportunity to use their abilities to make a real and lasting contribution to the lives of sick and disadvantaged.
Multimedia award goes to the one who is the most popular in multimedia fields. There are different ways to vote them. Only 2 days left now to vote them.
