The moment of the legendary French football Zinedine Zidane’s headbutt to Italian opponent Marco Materazzi on 115th minute at 2006 World Cup finals has been immortalized by a statue at Pompidou modern art museum in Paris. It’s no wonder that the French people have a way of respecting their heros even in their bad moments.

The bronze statue is designed by Adel Abdessemed from Algeria and will be on display at the centre of the Centre Pompidou modern art museum in Paris.
