Nepal Telecom has officially launched a Linear TV and VOD OTT service named WOW TIME through their press release today. The service aims to provide TV, movies and entertainment service to the mobile users of NTC network.
WOW Time is distinctly similar to NetTV service with a cheesy name. The only exception being the addition of FM networks. NTC has set the service free for testing for the Dashain festive season. So you can watch content for free while the test period lasts.
The app is available on Google Play Store and Apple App store for only for users in Nepal.
But as this is quite an early version expect some hiccups as they try to iron them out. But as the service is going to go as premium subscription, you might as well try them out. You will need to register with your name and mobile number. The service then registers you and lets you use the service for free until it expires. When the subscription starts, it will use your prepaid balance as a payment method.
