In an annually published research on regional corruption by the Transparency International, Nepal has landed a 122 position among 180 countries. This is 2 position higher than the previous year.
Transparency International emphasizes that countries are making very little or no effort to combating corruption in the public sector. This is quite evident in Nepal as there has been very little change with very few corrupt officials tried for corruption. And some even avoiding any trial.
Nepal is 20th among 26 Asian countries and 6th among 8 SAARC member countries.

As the research suggests government aren’t doing making necessary policies to stop corruption, citizens should take steps to pressure them to make them. Hopefully we will see something better come off this government in Nepal.
