WordPress has just released its thirteenth release of their open source blogging CMS. Its one of the most used blogging CMS worldwide and has brought some new features to this release like theme customization and more.
Some of the features include theme designers to have api support to enhance the theme’s background, headers, menus, shortlinks, taxonomies and more. And it now has a new default theme called Twenty Ten.. You can also create custom template for authors of the blog.
You can now integrate WordPress with WordPress MU and manage lots of sites with a single WordPress 3.0 installation.
It now has a new installation page where you can choose your own username rather than default “admin” username which was automatically set by wordpress and it was a security threat to most old wordpress installations.
