If you have Windows XP operating system and you’re always opted to enter your username and password every time you use your computer. This little trick is going to help you disable the login prompt for all users for windows xp auto login. Also you might need Administrative privileges for this to work.
Firstly you have to open up the user accounts settings window. You can do this by typing “control userpasswords2” in your run window.
Then “User Accounts” setting windows will pop where you can disable the
“Users must enter a user name and password to user this computer” option to remove the login prompt.
Then you’re done. You can now restart your Windows XP and you will not be bugged by a windows login window anymore. The login window will still be opted after system standby or hibernation though.
Enjoy Windows xp auto login feature.
