Vonage has created a facebook application called Vonage Talkfree that enables you to call everyone with that application on facebook. In addition you will also need a free application on your iPhone, iPod touch, Ipad and Android devices. Calls can be made over Wifi or 3G. Then you can start calling your friends on facebook without remembering their numbers. Just choose a friend and you can start talking with them for free. How cool is that.
The system is pretty easy to use. Follow the following steps.
- Just download the application for your iPhone from App Store or Android Market for Android devices.
- Then Login to facebook with your facebook login.
- All your friends will be automatically loaded into the Application.
- The friends will be grouped as the ones you can call for free and whom you can send messages.
- Then you’ll see a vonage logo on the side of the friend who has the Vonage application installed on their devices.
- Just choose a friend to call and the application will call that friend anywhere on the world for free.
The application can be downloaded from the Android Market in 48 countries and from the iTunes Store in 87 countries.
