HP Touchpad was originally released with WebOS. But with HP dropping the development of WebOS and making it open source has made its users wait for any updates to be available. But if you are facinated with the latest Android flavor Ice Cream Sandwich, you might be in luck. As the CyanogenMod team are porting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the HP Touchpad. And they have recently released a teaser video to demostrate CM9 on HP Touchpad.
According to the video, there are still some fixes to be made and the camera and Video playback aren’t working. But they are working on it and will be releasing it soon. But most of the features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work so we can expect the CyanogenMod team to release this to the HP Touchpad users to play with very soon.
And here is the video on youtube.
