uBlock is a resource efficient Ad blocker for Firefox, Chrome and Safari

As and efficient blocker uBlock is easy on memory and CPU footprint, and yet can load and enforce thousands more filters than other popular blockers out there.

Ad blockers for browsers are something everyone should have. The browsing experience is much much enhanced when you don’t see ads everywhere you browse in the internet. And even sometime block awkward ads at workplace or elsewhere. But Adblocks extensions and plugins till now have been hogging the system to achieve the web without ads. That’s about to be replaced with uBlock. uBlock uses a different methodology to drastically cut down the use of system resource for blocking ads and elements in browsers.

So, Go ahead and give this extension a try. In Firefox it’s a non-restart required plugin, so you could be using it right away. Although, you should disable other plugins before enabling uBlock to stop any conflicts.
