The Mozilla team has just released a list of 12 best add-ons they think were the most used for 2014.

Mozilla Firefox has one of the best collection of add-ons and plugins in the browser world. Something more to add to how it suits almost everyone’s tastes. And the Mozilla team has just released a list of 12 add-ons they think were the best used add-ons for 2014. As the year is off to an end, check out if you missed some of the add-ons that should benefit you in any way.

Best Add-ons of 2014 for Firefox

The collection includes add-ons which offer accessibility features like opening links in the same window without having to open them in a new tab. Others include taking screenshot and instantly uploading it to your chosen image site, download status bar for easy tracking of your downloads. Google Translator has also made the list which allows for easy translation for text right from the Firefox toolbar.

For me the best of the list is a CoolPreviews Add-on which loads links instantly in a smaller window in the same window so you can preview your links without having to open them in a new tab. And to people who have lots of tabs open all the time this would come handy so they can just preview the links without having to browse through multiple tabs and back.
