Google celebrates 10 billion apps download

Google’s Android Market has recently reached a milestone of 10 billion apps download. And the app download rate is growing at 1 billion per month. That’s huge numbers and with this it’s going to get to new heights in 2012.


To help celebrate this amazing milestone, Android market is running a promotion over 10 days in which the market will be selling some of the best selling apps  for only 10 cents each. Google has partnered with Asphalt 6 HDColor & Draw for KidsEndomondo Sports Tracker ProFieldrunners HDGreat Little War GameMinecraftPaper CameraSketchbook MobileSoundhound Infinity and Swiftkey X.

With this milestone Google also has to take care of poor quality of applications at the Android market to increase the overall experience of an Android user.
