Firefox has now begun to disable un-signed extensions by default. I still have a few old extensions that work perfectly fine with some modifications but are no longer updated. This doesn't mean they are malicious or anything.

This does allow security features to the not so technical people who install extensions without checking their validity or with so many bloat ware that install extensions with their softwares. but for Extension like Evernote clipper or Internet download manager, they will now no longer work with this feature.

Well for people who have this similar problem, there's a way to disable this check and allow unsigned extensions to still work.

Go to "about:config" page on your firefox url bar and type "signature". This will filter out a few options.

Disable the following option and restart your firefox.
