On September 29th PC gamers on Steam will get their first taste of Call of Duty: WWII, thanks to an open PC multiplayer beta that enables high-resolution, high framerate fragging, with an exciting return to World War II combat, Call of Duty style. The pre-download begins today on Steam, so head over to the Steam store to pre-download now!

The PC Open Beta is just a small part of the full Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer experience, with an emphasis on stress testing core gameplay systems and the online backend infrastructure prior to the game's launch on Steam this November.

For the Beta, developers Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software are recommending GeForce GTX gamers gear up with a GeForce GTX 1060 for fast, smooth Call of Duty: WWII gameplay at 1920x1080:

RAM: 12 GB RAM
HDD: 25 GB HD space

DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card, or equivalent
Network: Broadband Internet connection

Following the beta, after pouring through all of the game and technical data, along with the player feedback and ongoing benchmarking, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software will share final PC specs for Call of Duty: WWII's launch in November.
