Using Tasker to start download in 1DM download manager app

Set up Tasker to start downloads on 1DM android application. This guide is going to have the basics of how to configure it and also the TaskerNet link at the bottom to quickly setup it yourself. 

You’re going to need both Tasker and installed. The FAQ section on 1DM has a section on how to configure 1DM with third-party applications. It’s targeted for developers, but the content can used to trigger 1DM application through Tasker.

Here’s the reference you should use:

E.g. "Action" on the 1DM FAQ page should be “Action” on Tasker Intent configuration screen.

Action: Action

PackageName: Package

Data: Data (download link)

ComponentName: Class

The “Cat” can be “Default” and the “Target” should be “Activity” to trigger the download modal.

Since 1DM has three app in the Google Play Store, the PackageName differs accordingly.

1DM+: idm.internet.download.manager.plus
1DM: idm.internet.download.manager
1DM Lite: idm.internet.download.manager.adm.lite
