Would you play a four way chess?

Would you play a chess board for 4 people where you could conquer piece from any side. Or this is going to be a messy and complicated thing.

I say with all that pieces the board is going to be crowded and end really quick. ;)

it would be really hard to know from where you will get checkmate but looks really interesting though.
